Caitlin Montcrieffe is our Head Coach.
She swam on a local rec team beginning when she was 4 years old,
and she competed as a varsity swimmer throughout high school and
for the first two years of college at CSU East Bay, where she is a
physics major in her junior year. Caitlin began as a junior
coach when she was 12 years old, and she has been the head coach
for the Dublin Gators and the Blackhawk Masters team. She
does daily Crossfit workouts and climbs rock walls when she’s
not studying or in the pool.
Keegan Darby

Keegan Darby started swimming at RMST as a
Seal Pup and stayed with our team until his family moved to the
Sacramento area when he was a teen. He swam for 2 years with
a USA club team there and 3 years on his varsity high school team,
the last of which he was captain. He has been an assistant
swim coach, and he has also coached a 5th/ 6th-grade football team
to the Sacramento regional championship. He is a student at
Brigham Young University, and when he isn’t swimming or
playing basketball or baseball he is writing a weekly sports column
on a website he’s created.
Adam Taylor

Adam Taylorgrew up swimming with the Pleasant
Hill Dolphins rec team, where for 4 years he was a Mini-Dolphins
coach and a junior coach. He was recognized with the
team’s Best Times Trophy for setting best times in all five
strokes at his final league meet. Adam continued to swim in
high school and at DVC, which he currently attends. He also
played four years of high school water polo. Eyeing a career
in law enforcement, Adam will be transferring to Sonoma State in
the fall.
Kevin Raab

Kevin Raab is the head coach of the Wine
Country Aquatics USA club team and the head coach of the Granada
High School boys varsity water polo team. This is also a
homecoming for Kevin, who got his start in swimming and coaching
with RMST when his family lived in the neighborhood several years
ago. As a swimmer, he qualified for Junior Nationals, made
finals at the Santa Clara Gran Prix Invitational, and won the 200m
breaststroke while setting a record at an international meet in El
Salvador. He also swam at De La Salle, the Walnut Creek
Aquabears and the University of Maryland. He will be coaching days
only during the regular season.

Justin Kim will be a junior coach this year. He is an RMST
swimmer in the 15-18 age group, and as a long-time Seal he
knows our team and our swimmers very well. He will be
integrally involved in coaching at practices, but as a swimmers
himself his meet responsibilities will be considerably lighter than
those of the assistant coaches.
